FILM DESCRIPTION:
Jake Pentecost is a once-promising Jaeger pilot whose legendary father gave his life to secure humanity’s victory against the monstrous Kaiju. Jake has since abandoned his training only to become caught up in a criminal underworld. But when an even more unstoppable threat is unleashed to tear through cities and bring the world to its knees, Jake is given one last chance by his estranged sister, Mako Mori, to live up to his father’s legacy.

This monster is the scariest kaiju like monster I have ever seen. And am not scared of a lot of things so this is rare.
My biggest problem with this movie was the superhero like stype of filming. Sliding into battle and such stupidity.
And there is no sense of scale. The kaijus and the jeagers move too fast. In the first part every move was very slow and the whole screen shoke on impact. And you had toons of these street level shots to give a sense of scale.
And iirc none of them dies. In the first film, three jeagers were destroyed and it gave a sense of danger. This is like power rangers

This is why you don't put kids in giant robots
I feel like the best solution is to run the way the monster is coming from just so you don't spend even more time in the line of fire.
The funny thing about this scene are the Kaiju doesn't interested on destroying the city they just trying to climb mount Fuji
